LET'S START USING OUR RESOURCES AMERICA!!

Should convicted felons be allowed in the United States military? They should be allowed to serve their country because that would decrease the cost that we the tax payers are paying every year to house, feed, medicate, clothe, and guard them every year. No one wants to talk about these cost except when appealing to the federal government for increased funding to states that supply all these needs. I see no reason why certain crimes cannot be paid for with military service. The way things work now is that the taxpayer consumes all the cost while at the same time pays for the military funding. It seems only rational that the two be consolidated into one expenditure by the taxpayer. It also serves the publics need for safety because there would be no need for electronic monitoring because they would always be in custody of the U.S. military. I'll say this, statistics will show that voluntary military enlistment has decreased dramatically in the recent decades, and these recent wars are only making people think twice about joining, so why are we taking Americas brightest, and most impressionable minds and sending them off to risk their lives when they could be possibly inventing the cures for some of our most dreaded diseases.

If I'm not in control! Then who is?

In societies across the globe humans find themselves conducting their daily behaviors in a manner that is contradictory to their own beliefs. They often wonder why they behave in such a manner. This instance of rationale usually only last for a short while, maybe only a second or two. These thoughts are not as instantaneous as they appear. One needs to look at with great reverance, authors of analytical thinking and the fathers of psychoanalogy like Sigmund Freud, Edward L. Bernays, and others who designed tactics to control the thinking of human beings as groups rather than individuals. There is an over abundance of information on this topic. It is not my aim to peruade my readers to believe in either direction on any given topic, but simply to invoke thought. Question why is it that we're told that we should brush our teeth with toothpaste that contains fluoride, but we're not told that the nazi's used fluoride to make the inmates passive, as to not question authority. Roosevelt signed an "Executive Order" to give the government the right to violate your constitutional rights under the guidelines of national security. The only other president to do this was president George W. Bush when he signed the patriot act bill. Roosevelt had used Bernays during the depression of 1929 to control the publics thoughts to avoid mass panic he claimed. WHY SO MUCH HATRED AMONG OURSELVES!!!

A generation called X! I remember groing up and listening to my grandmother talk about the struggles that her generation had because of racism. She would always say be thankful for what you have because they didn't even have that! She would constantly make sure that all of her children and grandchildren had what we needed instead of what we wanted, but we were still thankful, because we knew she cared. I remember hearing my mother talk about the times of her generation often expressing how proud she was that her generation invented rock N roll. She often talked about the nickel parties and all choices they had of which entertainer they have seen perform live because of the abundancy. I'm proud to be able to say that my generation created rap, (but not this vulger degrading garbage of today) and break dancing. When I say rap music I mean music that entailed disenfranchised people used to propel themselves out of the constraints of the ghetto used. A music where people could listen to and reminisc about the times we shared as a people and culture. I often ask myself what happened. There's no more harmony, and our people, for some reason hate themselves, why is this? Could it be that one of the previous generations failed them, or have they just plain and simple just given up! We don't like to hear the truth, but I think it's the latter because all the generations that I've mentioned previously will forevermore be remembered for thos accomplishments that I've stated and many more, such as the civil rights movement. But, what, if anything, will GENERATION x be remembered for besides incestrial genocide!! below I have compiled a list of sites from inner cities across the country, that sadened me as I read them. I just ask one thing of my readers on this particular article of mine. ARE WE A COUNTRY OF MORALS AND BELIEF'S ANYMORE!!!

How are we suppose to lead by example if we can not figure out the basic principles of mankind? There is a lot of people that would not say how they feel when it comes to their points of view on sexuality. I firmly believe and know that to go against what god and nature intended is to be in direct conflict with them both. Let's examine some examples before going any further. How could the most intelligent form of life here on earth get something so screwed as what to species it takes to procreate? It seems to me that mankind are willing to step down to any level just to be liked or accepted. We are supposed to a nation of god fearing people who try their best to live our lives as best we could for the reason of gaining god's acceptance. Great people have stood and said that if a person stands for nothing he'll fall for any and everything. Now, I do believe that if a person wants to live their lives the they see fit, that's between them and god and not me. But, I also know that there is a reason that american marriages are performed in places of worship is because marriage is an institution of god. I'm no authority on religion but I'm quite sure that he wouldn't have condemned Sodom and Gommorah, if there was nothing wrong with the way the people acted. All anyone has to do if they're not sure about who should or should not get married, is asked themselves one basic question would I be here if I had two fathers or two mothers. Then the next trifling thing the gay movement wants to do is liken their struggle for gay rights to the civil rights movement. These are, to me, people with no simpathy or understanding whatsoever of anything other than their own agenda. There is no wonder why the world is starting to look at america in a whole different light other than what its original intentions were. We're called warmongers with no values or principles, and that we will do anything for money and a vote. I, for one, believe that this is still a great nation, with a lot of great people and, I also believe that the world hasn't even begun to see the real potential of americans as an asset to the world. It is those same principles that this country was founded on that made us successful thus far. There is a saying, "if it aint broke don't, don't fix it." Humans have been here for thousands of years without going against nature so why start now! The plain and simple fact is that we all know that it's wrong. I don't want my grandchildren lied to when they get into school and are forced to ask the obvious question of why two people of the same sex are kissing or getting married and the adult that's answering the question has try and come up with some in between excuse to explain what they know is wrong as something right.

BE AWARE FOLKS THAT.....

Now there is a new device that the police are now armed with a new device that allows your license plate without them pulling you over and running any sort of record check. This seems like a good idea, your probably thinking, but as law student we must ask ourselves one very important question. The law states that a police officer must have probable cause in order for him to check you out as a citizen or even potential criminal. This is part of the checks and balances system that we live with everyday. The problem with this device is that the officer doesn't need have any "probable cause" to even check you out. When a police officer is either questioning or running any sort of checks on the public, this is known in law enforcement as an police investigation. The Federal and state laws clearly state that there can be no law enforcement interaction without probable cause. Now, folks I'm not posting this because I do not want to help police catch criminals, I mainly concerned with just how much of civil liberties are we going to lose. SUMMER IS HERE!

It is apparent that summer time is very near. One of many record hot days, of which is really spring time. This is evident by the examples of this big city family out from the confines of their home enjoying a bushel of crabs while conversing with family members. On this record day temperatures reach record numbers as high as .92 degrees farhenheit on the eastern seaboard. Keep in mind that this is the month of April. Here a grandmother (far left) converses with her expecting daughter (far right) and niece (middle). This is after a hard and long work week that this family just wants to come out and enjoy the hot weather. When asked why not go to the park or beach one of the family members replied this is much easier to do, and they don't have the task of packing up the kids and food along with the long bumper to bumper traffic. The most explicit reason for not traveling abroad is the rising cost of gas and tolls along the New Jersey corridors, they expressed. They personified their unrelentful anxiety for the next gubenatorial elections so they can vote New Jersey's current governor Jon Corzine out of office. They blamed him for not looking out for their interest in the garden state. The governor is in negotiations as we speak to raise taxes even higher to close New Jersey's overwhelming deficit, and implementation of work furloughs of the garden state civil service workers. These furloughs are, as the governor states, the best measures that he can come up with in order for 8,000 state workers not to lose their jobs.

BEWARE! FAKE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND UNIVERSITIES ARE SPRINGGING UP ALL ACROSS THE U.S.

I know by now we all know someone who has been taken by some boggus school either online or inner city location. They claim to offer your dream certification in less time than a normal university offers. This is because the federal government recognizes their proven potential to fulfil the requirements and standards that the U.S. Department of Education set forth to ensure that when someone says he or she is an professional of a specific discipline, they have actually had the training and exposure that will ensure the citizens of this country's safety. The growing trend that is starting to surface nowadays especially with the economic turmoil that everyone is feeling, are the quick and easy way to success. Millions of ordinary people are joining these schools thinking "now I can go to Medical or Law School." Then when they fill out the application and go threw the rigorous scrutinzation process they find out after spending all that money on filing fees and all sorts of other fees that are attached to the process of joining a legitamate institution of higher education that they had not even went to school. They had only received training in a specific field, which means they are now prepared to enter that particular at an entry level that does not require a degree. One would ask how can they do this. It is very simple, the same people who do not want to gain success through sacrifice, but merely scam their way through shortcuts, are the only victims of these schools. Come on folks, again, ask yourself why is it that everyone else that I know who are attending college must earn only 124.00 credits and attend for four years in order to receive a Bachelors degree, and this school that I'm signing up for I can get 180.00 credits in 6 to 18 mos. A lot of these fraudulent schools will use part, or the simular sounding name of a well known school. They do this because most of us have heard of a top university at one time or another. Their job are to set the standards and to list only those schools that have legitamate accreditation that will be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. They recognize that there are a lot of phoney schools that are charging people overwhelming tuitions and fees to attend schools that can only offer a worthless piece of paper. Folks, ultimately you have to be the judge of where you sign your name, because once you sign your name for that loan you are responsible for paying it back, and let's not forget if that loan goes in default you cannot receive any financial assistance from the government until it is paid back in full. Save yourself a lot of pain and just take a few moments to research your school of choice, and call the better business beaureau to find out the schools history. NEW JERSEY NEEDS REPRESENTATION!

We have a Democrat who is not in touch with reality! and a Republican who is only thinking of the rich, and the white house. Here is an example of how out of touch our current governor is! everyone and every state are faced with such economic down turns that our whole country is in disarray right now. Most people in the whole country are worried about how are they going to eat and feed their children from day to day. The best that our dizzy governor could come up with to deal with the problems of this state are to pass new legislature that would give driver license to illegal immigrants. I'm not against helping illegal immigrants make a transition to become legal, but get real, is this the time for it. What has Corzine done for this state anyway except chase business from our state. New Jersey use to be the state to come to when seeking a job and better life, instead now it's the state to flee from because of the highest taxest in the nation, no jobs because they are all moving to mexico, and south america. I believe the only reason he was able to get seated in the first place was simply because he is a democrat.

Let us remember!

INSTITUTIONS WANT TAX PAYERS MONEY, BUT DOES NOT WANT INCREASE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE

Here is another example of how the mainstream media uses religion to bash the new president. These days everyone seems to want to hold reverence to their personal views while at the same time expect to have the tax payers foot the bill. President Obama was elected to speak at Notre Dame, but is met with discourse. The reason given was that he passed a bill to allow for stem cell research. Notre Dame's constituents cite that this goes against the fundamental values of the christian church. Commonsense says that to hold your values as the sole bases of all your decision making is okay, but those fundamental values should apply to all your decisions, and not just the ones that does not benifit you, as an institution. In other words don't take the dollars from the federal government if you feel that Washington's decisions are in direct conflict with the belief's of your institution. If Obama as the President of the United States should not be allowed to speak then he also should not be allowed to give funding to Notre Dame. It's funny that the same people who are fundamentally against medical research are often the same recipients of the benifits of that same research. Here's a church that okays that does not allow for prosecution of priest that sexually assault little helpless children, but somehow has a lot to say when it comes to saving a life of living, breathing human beings.

COMMONSENSE SPEAKS

This weeks recent events are a signification of the trying times of not only local thinking, but thinking on a global level. It seems that because of the economy all nations are showing more simularites than differences. A clear example of this is just as we're suffering a disproportionate climbing unemployment rate here in the U.S., most if not all of the other developed nations are suffering simular national challenges. Other countries are in economic discourse, and they are worried about their dollar values also. But one thing seems to never fail, that's drug use and crime in itself. There's a know fact that when humans fall upon economic hard times communities in general seem to have an overwhelming desire to escape their daily portion of stress by increasing or starting its use of drugs or mind altering chemicals. One new thing I've noticed in the news this week, and that is the honest effort to conquer the manufacture and distribution of illegal drugs. This is the first time that I actually feel that this country are honestly trying to erradicate illegal drugs. This evidence can be seen in Secretary Hillary Clinton's visit to Mexico to deliver speech. Now I'm not saying that this has not been done before, but I am saying that this is the first time that prople locally and abroad actually feel that this is a real committment and effort on behalf of the U.S. to deal with this issue.

Stimulus this week!

Well, it seems those insecure republicans are still at it, that is to say that they are constantly working on an issue that the president elect, are going to have problems with. I feel sorry for them, it's like a lost sheep trying to find it's shepard. They aimlessly walk through the narrow halls of common sense without recourse. The republicans, for some reason, cannot and will not, understand that until they come aboard and realize that it is their traditional thinking that put the world in it's current financial situation they are not going to get the support of normal corporate exec's that they are usaually accommodated with. The good thing is that Obama is sticking to his normal savvy. He continues to addres the people, seeking their input and keeping them abrested on the new, so that they do not have to hear it from some looby controled news network who always seem to get the story mangled just enough to make listener confused enough to actually consider changing political parties. He even speaks to his constituents through the latest tech-savvy crowd using the internet, by way of twitter, facebook.

Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the LSAT test, other than to weed out the UNDESIRABLES. I'm certain that I am not the only one that's asking this question. I mean wouldn't a career in law require the same as any other career. Your success would be determined by your ability to perform within that environment. there is a lot of our students that are being turned away simply because they didn't figure out a puzzle. Their dreams are actually being shattered without ever having a chance to prove their worth to the law community. Instead of fighting to save the whales, wouldn't it be more prudent to save a human, after all, we are socialable creatures who rely on the socialization and interaction with one another.

Who is responsible?
Have you noticed that society is becoming more infantile though technology seems to be growing at an unprecedented rate. Well the answer seems to be laziness, lack of will power, and thereof. I mean let’s take a look at some examples of evidence to procure my argument.
12 twelve step programs: these are programs that simply focus on the weaker of society, and tell the participants that they are powerless and that this awful disease is just too powerful for them to control. They say that the only way that you can even hope to overcome your addiction is to first come out of denial and admit that you have a problem. Then submit and tell yourself that you are powerless against this disease.
Now, while it is true that in order to overcome any problem in life one must first admit to themselves that a problem exist. We all know that we, as human beings, are in direct control over our lives. We also know that we are not powerless, but instead, we are very powerful. After all aren't it that very fact that differentiates us from all the other creatures that inhabit the earth.
What I have noticed during my 44 years on this planet, is that there has been a monumental intelligence shift throughout humanity, mainly here in the United States. I have noticed that people are very irresponsible, and that they do not want to take any responsibility for there actions.
Everyone is acting very surprised to see the economy downspiral the way it is, when all they had to do is be honest with themselves years ago. Examples: ask yourself do you own your car, or are you making payments. when you go food shoping are you paying for your food, or are you swiping a credit card of some sort. When you shop at the mall, are you paying cash or again, swiping a credit. When you got married did you pay up front for the wedding or did you take out a loan. This list can go on and on, but the harsh reality is that you, yourself want to live in a dream world where there are minimum sacifices made by you, yourself.
What happened to the world where your true status was exemplified by the income that you earned. Back in the sixties and seventies there might have been one or two brand new cars in an entire neighborhood, and everyone enjoyed the comforts of a used car with the old occassional breakdown in the middle of the road. While this may seem like everyone must have been very inconvienced during that time period, guest what, that is where your mechanics, electricians, and a whole host of other professionals came from. In other words productive citizens were created from knowhow. The mother of the household knew how to put together scraps that now today the public pays for. She had to learn this because there were virtually no fast food restaurants, and they had to survive on true income, not one that was dreamt up through a piece of plastic. Everyone in the household contributed, and that is what gave each and every family member a sense of pride. Now, what do you have? You have a bunch of lazy people who basically want everything, but are willing to give nothing. Hey! don’t sweat it, when too many debtors start calling me I’ll just file bankruptcy to get them off my back, then they’ll start giving me credit all over again just for the sake of boosting their quarterly earnings, let alone the fact that I am a terrible credit risk. The debtor will simply file an insurance claim with the government as lost income. Then the government will pay the debtors back with what they will call disposable income, which is really your tax dollars.
Here’s an example of how you can tell lazy folk anything and they’ll go for it because as long as their own greed is being fulfilled they simply do not care. Can you believe this guy became the president even once!

Let's not forget the fact that during the bush administration we suffered the highest gas surge shortly berfore he began campaigning for his second term, then as his campaign actually began campaigning, the prices of gas dropped dramatically. Right after he aquired the questionable second term presidency, the gas prices fell. Coincidentally, Exxon made record profits during the rise. This is what I mean by a dummied down society. "Common sense" says that if you pay a given price for any product, and you sell that product for double so that you can make a profit, that's business. If you pay a given price for any given product, in order for you to make record profits one or two things has to occur. Either your selling that product for three or four times its maket value, or there is an overwhelming amount of consumers purchasing lots and lots of that product.

For those of you that have issues with words, here is the MATH:

I buy product for 1.00 Exxon buys product for 1.00

I sell product for 2.00 Exxon sells product for 4.00

profit made 1.00 record profits made 3.00

Now, convert these values into trillions of dollars, and remember Bush, Cheney, and a host of others in the bush cabinet has oil businesses.

Ask yourselves another question how come when Bush's term was coming to an end, what new world event happened that caused gas prices to go DOWN and STAY DOWN.
